Oshrat has been working as an architect since 2004, during this time she initiated and collaborated in various projects as a set designer, director and performer. she holds an MA in Performance Design and Practice (with distinction) from Central Saint Martin’s College of art, UAL, London. Since then, along her architectural practice, she was involved in different educational activities and artistic projects.
In her artistic research Oshrat explores how the human body experiences and perceive its physical environment, how these relations shape urban spaces and the ways we move and function in the everyday life. By doing so, she hopes to find creative ways to address contemporary cities’ deficiencies.
For the last few years Oshrat had the privilege of being appointed architect of The Urban Renewal Authority in the city of Lod and later on in Be'er Sheva, Israel. Presently, she keeps working as an architect and social planner while finding opportunities as a cultural entrepreneur and curator.
